I'm Back Baby!!!

Hey family im happy that everything is good there, haha man everything is more than good here :)  Bet you guys will never guess where im at?  Haha Im back in San Martin, but this time as a zone leader, and my companion is Elder vazquez from Piura Peru, man he is awesome.  Man I was pretty excited when President called my name and said that I would be the zone leader in my first zone, man I am so grateful to be back here, I missed it so much, and man maranga was so hard, just made it through the six months there and the Lord sent me back to this awesome place.  It is wierd because I had slept in my room like 3 times before working with the zone leaders whn I was in bello horizonte.  It is cool to get to see all of the members from bello horizonte, we had another talent show and got to see all the old members, they are excited to have me back in the zone.  My companion is awesome, we have alot in common and man it is great.  We had alot of success this week, man twice as many lessons in one week here than in maranga and alot less walking, man everyone lets you in here,it is a different country like I told you all before.  And sorry mom my letters are going to be alot shorter now, because i have to take all my time putting all the numbers from the week in the computer.  But I am writing you from the internet that I used to write you from, it doesnt happen that often that a elder goes back to the same sector so I never had imagined San Martin, but couldnt be happier, there are 18 in the zone and man we have one elder that is pretty crazy that is kinda out of control, lies a ton and wont keep the rules so we will see what happens, just gotta try to help him, I cant get mad, ahah.  This week is stake conference here, man that is crazy that bishop fowler will be getting changed, I know that he was called for a reason, we got along so good and he helped me out so much, and look im here at the end of this change I will have one year, and Im a zone leader now and back in the best zone in the mission as everyone says, so I dunno why I got so lucky but man Im here.  The ward is really small, well the building, and there were probably 70 in church yesterday so it was alot different than precursores.  But they welcomed me to the ward and so that was nice, than after church we ate lunch at the bishops house, and started to look through his mission pictures, and his companion was Brother Hall in the ward! How small of a world is it, I was like bishop how crazy is that, he lives in my ward.  Bishop Rivadeneira, you gotta tell Brother Hall.  I wonder who will be the next Bishop, it could be Brother Hall....  We´ll see.   So in the talent show we did our talent and everything thing and then there were some sisters that did a dance to a eminem song, sayin the f word man  I left the room and they dont understand any of it but it was still pretty shocking for me, I was here the f bomb cause it is one of the words that they know so they always just scream it at all the north americans.  So elder Vasquez is sitting on the side of me, he speaks english so we are helping each other alot to learn alot faster and man that is a real blessing so I can ask him what everything means, and so I hope to progress alot with the language this change.  Man I am so happy and just hope to keep working, you lose alot of sleep as a zone leader, last night until 12 we were up preparing our talks and talking, man I feel like my mission is more like the best two years now, that movie, before the mission you hope you mission will be like that, and man It has finally came, it is so sweet.  I didnt even have to get to know anyone because I already knew my pesionista, and her name is Irene so that is cool to be able to remember my grandma.  Tell her I love her.  Tell gramps hi for me, and that I love him.   Sorry for scaring you mom but my companion just told me that i will still always get 45 min so ya normal dont worry.  Just keep praying for me that i can just keep loving it.  IM happy to hear that everything is good.  ON the 12th we should have 4 baptisms, 4 sisters, haha im back baby to baptizing, I hope we can keep it going, man we worked hard this week, and man it is so so so so so hot here, I am sweating my butt off and feel really dirty all the time again like in bello horizonte, haha but hey I love it.  Mom and dad, I always look around and think, o man my mom and dad are going to die when they see this... hahah but thanks toads for the email, all is good, thanks sister so much for all you support love you too, and thanks for dreaming about me.  Tell whit that yes I got her photos, thanks mom.  Well love you, hope that you all are well, I will just be down here working in San martin, Rio Blanco ward ..  love you fam, love you mom, love ya pops

Hey fam, so I was right, and yes I am leaving this ward.  But I still dont know where I am going, because what happens is we have the meeting on tuesday.  And so we all go there to the chapel and sit down and then president tyler introduces all of the new elders that are entering, and then he says, do you wanna know the changes? And then he will say okay elder stauffer is going to go to such and such a place and then I will go and sit by my new companion and then listen to all of the other changes.  Then with my new companion, after the meeting we will take a taxi with all of my bags to my new area and get started.  They are opening 9 new sectors because 2 missionaries are leaving this change but 18 are coming in so they are opening up alot, and so I have a good chance to be opening a sector, but hey im not traing now..  That will be nice for a change.  We will see what happens, but tomorrow at 2 is the meeting so tomorrow night I will be in my new sector.  I have 6 months here in Precursores, and man it feels like I just barely told all of you that it was a lot nicer than san martin.  But that is the mission for ya, it just flies by.  BUt I sent you a picture of daisi, my first pesionista here with carlos and stephanie, and then all of my packages that I have gotten here in this sector, THANKS MOM LOVE YOU.  And then what was the other one..... oh ya the zona maranga.  My zone here.  But two elders arent there because they had to go to the offices but ya it is most of us.  and my companion has the pictures of nillys baptism so we will go print those off today.  Today isnt pday because tomorrow is when I will pack and get everything ready.  K i am goin to send this email and load some more pictures...

Ok Im back, so is st george mom?  I am pretty excited to have a change, I feel pretty ready, six months there was pretty long but that is crazy to think that one forth of my mission i was there, holy cow just t

hink about that, one forth of my mission, and at the end of this change, I will have one year in the mission, wow........  I never thought that I would even be saying that but hey it is coming.  And man I have a lot to learn, alot of left with the language, and I have to get better with the lessons and all that good stuff and just get closer to my Savior, man sometimes I feel like i have just completly failed him when I dont give it my all, it is a time of highs of highs, and lows of lows, but hey I get the opportunity tomorrow to start in a new sector and give it my all.  But I´ll miss alot of people here in this sector but ya its the mission.  but I was thinking this week what could i write to my family, and I thought that I would write about all of the doubts and objections that the people tell us here that sometimes are terribly hard to answer.  #1 Everyone says that we all believe in Jesus Christ so he is going to save us all..  #2 They all say that they already have a bible which is so annoying. #3 they like preach against us down here in their churches, they all say dont listen to the mormons, so when they hear that they dont want anything to do with us.  #4 They have a ton of rumors about José Esmeet (Joseph Smith) I wrote it how they say it, haha it is pretty funny.  But the prophecies are coming true down here because when the angel moroni came and talked with Joseph, he said that his name would be heard for good and for evil, and man it is coming true down here.  They all yell at us ESMEET!!!!!  Or UTAH!!!!  or GREENGO!!!  haha it just makes me laugh, I like it but they always wanna fight with us about the gospel but man I am learning how to hold my feelings back so good, cause man that competiviness really comes out in me, but I can hold back my feelings when then totally try to run the face of Joseph Smith into the cement, but Im here, and I will testify of his name for two years and then I can think about other things but for now it is thinking about how I can answer these types of questions best.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Family, how are you all doing, first off thanks for all of your emails, that is awesome to hear from you all and to hear that everything is good.  Thank you so much mom for the picture, man that is so crazy to me, such a testimony builder, jordann would have been the last person that I would of thought would be serving a mission.  Wow and his dad even got baptized how cool is that, so thanks so much for sending that picture to me.  I thought that i would send some pictures today because I havent sent some pictures for awhile, so these three are from christmas night, with Martin and his family.  They are so awesome, it is them and the hernandez family that we are closest with, and martin I am going to show this picture to him.  Mom I handed out alot of proclomations this week and liahonas, so thanks so much for all of those really help us out a lot.  So what did you all do for new years, I heard that Arin and dev went to their bros house but other than that I havent heard.  2011, wow my one full year that I will be serving in the mission, and man it is going to go by so fast.  It is a nice split up for me, because now I think ok just kick butt this year and worry about this year because at the end of this year I will be planning to go home.  I cant even believe that i am going to hit 10 months here soon, that is pretty crazy for me.  And yes mom I gave camila all of her stuff.  she was pretty happy.  And if you can, I dunno if it is posible to get a liahona is german, we are teaching this couple and his wife speaks spanish but he doesnt speak anythin of spanish or english,  so it is really hard.  If you can that would be sweet.  And what happened with the contracts, it looks like your not on the internet so I will have to wait till next week or till wednesday because we arent going to get letters today it looks like.  THis week is going to be tough because we dont have a  pday to rest, we are just working everyday, so we will see how it goes.  The fireworks here were crazy.  News years eve we had to work normal all day until 9, at 9 we had to be in our rooms, then we went to bed at 10 30 but I set my alarm at 11 55 to get up to watch the fireworks, and wow that is crazy, I took a video of it so one day you will see it.  But is is like a war going on, everyone has a ton a fireworks like the big ones, not just the fountains.  I miss the good old days when we would all go to grandmas house to watch the fireworks and do them all together.  K im going to send this one and then send another after the pictures load.
