Hey family how are you all doing_  I finally got your email dad, it worked, thanks so much for writing, so I will be missing you all this week too, so dont worry but hey we only have one more to go after this and man mom and dad next year will be about to get on the plane to come get me, so man that is just plain crazy, we´ll talk about that in about 9 months ahaha not yet.  BUt another good week, no baptism but we have 6 of our future baptisms in church and that is huge because they have to attend church two times before they can get baptized.  So that was awesome, now we just gotta get permission from their parents, they are like our best friends and we are teaching them so we just need permission now.  But we´ll get it dont you worry.   THat is awesome mom about your new assignment you are going to be great and you always love that so just take advantage mom of it and do your very best.  Your gonna do awesome with the girls camp.  And WOW WHAT A WIMP D WILL, THAT MAKES ME KINDA SAD, NOW WHAT

ARE WE GONNA DO.............. YOu get that pit in your stomach when you think about that , o well.  And yes sister they get a little bit of snow here, but only way high up in the mountains in cusco and madre de Dios.  But last we we have the conference with elder Gavarret and man that was powerful, he had a sweet spirit.  And without exception the general authorities always testify of Jesus Christ that he has a body of flesh and bones, man that is just awesome to me, that THEY KNOW HE LIVES, and I have really gained a strong testimony of that in my mission.  SO this week I have been thinking, man one year is almost gone, and what have I learned this year, how many people have gotten baptized and all of that and I came to the conclusion that this year I have gained a stronger testimony, as I had to defend what I know is true and all that, as I had to knock a million doors and get the door slammed in my face, as the Jehovas witnesses cause havic here for us, I have learned that there isnt a doubt in my mind that in the year 1820 our Heavenly Father and His Son appeared to a prophet to restore their church to prepare for the second coming.  WE cant understand everything but we cant study and just rely on our Father that he knows best and we have the ability not to doubt.  It says in the Book of Mormon dont doubt alot, and so we have the chance and the ability to never doubt, and I made that decision this year to not doubt the temple covenants that I have made and just keep doing what I am supposed to.

Well you might ask did jesse get a transfer, because of all the pictures, haha the answer is no, Im still here in San Martin but we went to the zoo last monday and we took pictures, and mom when I saw this llama I had to take a picture for you, it was a huge old picture and said my mom will love it.  Man all of the elders were bitter last monday because we had to go to the zoo but whatever.  Today we are going to go the la punta, that is the point that point that you see on the map in lima.  haha k im goin to send this email and then start the next. 

Ok I am sending a picture of a talent show that we had, and they are members and our investigators that are dancing, we only need permission now, but angelo is on
 the end in the blue shirt, man he is awesome, he is 12 and if he gets baptized I will be so happy.  THen this saturday the whole ccm came to our zone and we did it it all worked out good, and they all worked hard and knocked doors all day, and now we just have to contact all the names of the people they talked to.  Read d and c 6, 7 that is the scripture of the week.  The talent show was supposed to start at 7 but im here in peru and people started to show up at 8 15 to get started that drives me nuts.  an hour and a half late.  Dad there are 14 elders and 2 sisters in the zone, then elder vasquez and I .  so 18 in total.  But every thing is good, just keep updating me on everything.  hope that you all keep writing me, I will be thinking about you all this thursday, love you thanks from all, and o ya your picture was awesome mom, it looked awesome your trip.  Love you elder stauffer

Hey family that is awesome that you all got some snow, it is pretty hot today so we are going to go to the zoo.  Man i am glad that mom and dad you had a wonderful trip, you deserve it for all that you do for us as a family, man I am learning alot this week, there aare some elders that dont wanna go to the zoo and I just had to tell them sorry you gotta go, and now they are all bitter but hey if my campion isnt gonna say anything you already know me, I will say somethin.  But today in the zone meeting it didnt go to good, I wanted to watch a movie with them about preach my gospel but the dvd player didnt work, o well, well just forget that one and we will move on to next week.  We had a really tough week, didnt have to much success, but we still had a baptism lesly got baptized, her whole family are members but she didnt get baptized and so she is 9 and got baptized, she is pretty awesome, and we are happy about that one.  And I wanna tell  you all thanks for all of the emails and pictures of Payton and of BT man you cant beleive how much they have grown up, miss them alot but hey we are getting there, hit 11 months this week, and man that just seems crazy, I still feel brand new, Im zone leader and There are a whole bunch of problems as a zone and this week elder vasquez and I got kicked out of a house, and man I am still loving the mission. Ill explain how we got kicked out, so we had an appointement with a family less active, and so we went back, and they werent there, which always happens, but this Jesús guy answered and said ya you can come in and talk to me, and so we went in, and then said a prayer, but then his sister got home and man she was so so so so so so so mad that the Mormons were in her house, she started to yell at us, and this whole time I was just biting my tongue because man before the mission I would of let her have it.  But I just kept remembering that Jesus always just took it so I just tried to do what he would do.  And then she told us to get out, so we left.... man that just capped off our week, and so that was just another trial, but hey it strengthens my testimony every time.  I like being able to defend somethin, and man my testimony has been tried like never, I dunno i just know that I am here almost in the pits of hell to defend what I know is true.  It is crazy how catholic it is and then  you got the Jehovas witnesses that just plain hate us, I mean they have such hatred towards us down here that they would spit on us if they gave us the chance.  But ya the mission is awesome I love it, I love my companion, everything is going good.  Tomorrow we get to  have a meeting with elder gavarret from the seventy and so that will be awesome.  Thanks for buying some ties for me, I got my pillow case and now I sleep with it every night.  But I am a little confused, how is it that elder zapata had it? haha cause he sent it to me.  But that is awesome about the snow storm, sorry mom that you had to go back to that, That is a huge change, maui to snow, like tanner and I , that day that I got back, and then had to go to school, man its like the mission, you gotta stay up till one preparing a talk, and then wake up at 6 to get to a meeting on time, ya talk about hard.  But I pray for all of you every night, thank you for all of your prayers.  Oh ya I was gonnna tell you all, enjoy your warm water, haha I havnet had hot water for 1 month now, but it is hot here, and so it feels kinda good, but in the morning it is cold.  And here they play a thing called carnivals and they all play water balloon fights and man yesterday they soaked us, but ya its funny.  And some people had a party yesterday, and so they drilled a hole in the street and planted this huge tree, I couldnt take my camera over there cause I didnt want them to steel it.  but then they cut it down becaue the tree is filled with presents.  and so that is pretty crazy, but hey peru.... well toads I hope that the contracts work out for you guys, that is sure part of my prayers every night that Our Heavenly Father will help us out on that, and He will, I dont have a doubt in my mind, and thanks tor i dont feel so bad then cause I have gained some weight you already know, everyone gives you stuff.  Thanks sister for updating me on sloan, that is crazy, well we´ll see what happens with them  .  thanks mom and dad for the emails, I will be waitng for the ties, love you all so much,. elder Stauffer.

Wow wow wow wow!! Lucky lucky lucky!!

Hey mom and dad, hope that you are enjoying your trip to maui, now you know why I had so much fun, golfing everyday and then laying out, playing, it was an amazing week.  But here in the mission I had a different kind of amazing, WE HAD 3 BAPTISMS AND CONFIRMATIONS.  But I dunno it is a toss up, where would I rather be, hahah jk I know that I am doing the right thing and for the rest of my life I can go to Hawaii with my family and only get this opportunity once in a life time.  Had a really good week, really.  And that is awesome that it is Bishop Larkin, he will be great, but alot of responsabilty.  The church there in Utah is alot alot alot different, we are alot more organized there, here the church is alot smaller and the bishops arent always that great, but hey the Lord knows what he is doing.  But I sent you a picture of Jaunita, that is her family, she is 9 and her whole family are members except her dad, we will work with him now. And then a house that is falling but hey we´re in peru, lets just put some stilts under the house and well call er good.  hahaah  it is crazy.  Then a picture with my valentines present, thanks so much.  HAPPY VALENTINES DAY LOVE YOU MOM LOVE YOU SISTER, LOVE YOU TAMMIE, LOVE YOU STEPH, AND LOVE YOU PAYTON.   HOpe you all have a great day.  Thanks sister for you email, I hope that you get feeling better. Hey Jesse! I have been helping your mom do a blog for you and I am loving it! I have had so much fun learning your stories and getting a peak into your mission.  I wanted to write you and let you know how proud I am of you.  You are an amazing young man....you always have been, and the people in Peru are SO lucky to have you there teaching them.  I am in awe at some of the amazing experiences you have had so far.  Keep up the good work!  I feel such a strong spirit when I am working on the blog, I love it.  

O man what a crazy day!

Ok fam, now I can write you , i had to write the numbers in the computer for the first time and man that takes forever, ahaha you have to type every little detail but Ill get used to the computer again, everything is good, but little stressed today, so we have to go around this week and pass out fridges and microwaves to every room in the zone, so nine rooms, and we did that on thursday, and we did that from 1 in the afternoon until 7 30 at night, in this tiny truck, but hey it was the first time that I have gotten pulled over in peru, haha the guy that was driving started to drive on the wrong side of the road and the cop saw him so he pulled us over, but here if you just give the cop 10 soles they just let you off, so he just gave him 10 soles and we started to drive again, here the cops are really corrupt.  BUt man that was an experience, but im stressed because in the officas before we left we got some money from the elder that is in charge of all the money, for elder acuña that is in our zone, so I put it in my backpack with all of my other stuff, and with all the other money for the other missionaries in the zone, and now I cant find the money for elder acuña so man I will be taking some money out of the bank it looks like today, sorry dad I dont know where I put the dang money.....  I cant stop thinking about it, where did it go.  But this week we just worked hard and we are preparing like 10 little kids to get baptized, and this saturday we have like 5 with dates, so we will see if their parents let them get baptized, but if they do, we should have like 5 baptism.  But other than that the mission is alot different now, I lost alot of time to sleep, now I go to bed at like 12 and still have to get up at 6 30 but hey im doing it, still am so tired sometimes, and sweating a ton.  But everything is good, how come you didnt write mom?  O ya dad, im not getting your emails that you say that you send, I forget to tell you that, make sure you got my address right.  Man I dunno what else to say, but that is awesome about the packers, it sounds like a good game, thanks for thinking about me, I totally forgot that yesterday was the super bowl, wow must be on a mission huh?  I love my area, love my companion, love the mission, today we are going to eat pizza and watch the best two years, man I am so excited.  But I got the two boxes, thanks so much for all of the candy, my pensionistas son loves the recess, hahah he is 18.  Getting ready to go on a mission in december.  Who is the new bishop, i was curious to know but you didnt tell me,  so i am going to be curious all week, thank you. haha just kidding.  but man thanks tammie for the emails, it was so good to hear that everything is going great, keep up the great work, tell bt that I love him, thanks sister, that is awesome that you get to go to Las vegas, (the furtil fields) hahah that is what it means.  But what else,  my companion speaks english so you could write the letters in english so he can practice his english.  MY name in spanish is Isaí, haha kinda funny huh.   k sorry so short but I gotta go, GOtta make alot of sacrifices now, and man i got alot of work ahead of me still today.  Well love you all, thanks for all of your support.  I am just fine down here, the work is going forward.  THe chapter of the week is 3 nefi 21.  Man how awesome..  It is a sign that our Father in Heaven is working, now that all the Lamanites have the book of mormon.  Love you all.....
