Ok a picture with the bishop palacios, mom your blog is famous now in my ward, haha they all tell me that they have seen my dog, and I am like how, and they say on your blog, hahaha but it is because the bishop has added me onto the wards blog so that is how they have seen lacie.  Miss her a ton.  but hope that all is well.  Dad I got one of your emails but thanks for everything.  I am super proud of you all too for what you are doing.  You are all doing really well.  Mom just one thing, and dad, I have no money in my card.  I bought new shoes to play futbol in because I had holes in my other ones, and then I bought some hand made scriptures cases you will love them when you see them.  SO will you please put money on my card for your poor peruvian son.  Love you tons you poor elder Stauffer with 13 soles in his backpack, thats it.  ahaha love ya all.

Ok that is sister Mayela, she is a baptism from the sisters and she wanted me to baptize her, she is a super lady and it was cool to be able to baptize her.  THen with augusto, awesome is all that i can say, he had to stop smoking to get baptized.,  But you have to yell to teach him, he cant hear anything.  BUt he also stopped smoking for his baptism.  And yesterday we went to pick him up for his confirmation and he wasnt there... so he never got confirmed.  but this week he will.. I was pretty bummed, he just wasnt there, haha o well this week.  And the other picture is mayela with her daughters and the sisters, but how you can see the chapel was huge, and super nice, we went there for hot water.  And when we got there the bishop there didnt know how to use the hot water so I was telling them how they should do it.  I told them that you have to empty the font first then fill it up with hot water, and they were like no you have to fill it up and then you turn the hot water on and it gets hot, and so that is what we did, because I have learned alot of patience ;) haha kinda and then it never got hot, so augusto had to get baptized with cold water, haha he almost died i think in the cold water. haha k sending this one.

Hey Family :-)

Hey fam I had another good week this week.  Thanks for all of your emails and pictures, looks like payton is super happy and bt haha gonna have some huge muscles boy.. Well I gotta get my muscles back before I go home....... hahahhahahaha we´ll see what happens. 

Ok I am gonna try to send alot of pictures today but the only thing is that this computer is super amazing slow so I dunno how it is gonna work out.   But the first picture is of augusto, he is 88 and an amazing man, and he got baptized on saturday, man we were so happy to help him ... we were taking all his information down for his baptismal register and his parents were born 26 years after the restoration of the church.  We were like whoa that is old, haha but we went to another stake to baptize him because our stake doesnt have hot water so bishop hired a combi to take us all to the chapel and it was tiny so there is the picture for ya in the combi with everyone.  But that picture that you cant see really well is a tractor getting towed, if you zoom in you can see it.  Sorry I was hurrying so fast with my camera that I barely got that through the window before it passed....  I thought that dad and kody and tory would get a kick out of it.  but it looked kinda dangerous to me...

All is well here, just getting close to the changes so we will see what happens this change, this week we are just gonna work super hard because this week we were with augusto alot that we didnt get alot of time to look for new investigators, but this month we only had 23 confirmations with is a big bummer for me, I hoping that we would have more but nope.  K im gonna send this one... 

Man I first wanna start off by just telling you all that I cant help but smile, to hear all of the

wonderful things that you are all doing, man that is awesome.  Yes mother dear I got your letter and read it all and it didnt surprise me at all that you were called to do that, it is your dream calling and am so excited for you to be able to do that.   You are gonna be great, just give it all you got, plan good, and just plan ahead and the girls will love all of the organized activities.  Something that I am just dying to have in the church again, Is organization, man it seems like my soul is just shrivled up with how unorganized it is here, haha that is the best way that I can explain it, that my soul is lacking the organization in the church that we all have back home.  hahah like Enos when he needed to pray, ya that is me, I need organization, it is driving me absolutely

nuts.  hahah  But man sister that picture of dad made me crack up so bad, classic was the perfect word for that.  hahah dad your awesome.  Hope that you had an awesome day, thought about you alot yesterday and knew that you were gonna have the best day ever, and just think, that next year I will be there right with all of you..  But thanks for all of the pictures, it was great to see ya tamm, you are looking great, but gotta be honest, that I am not diggin the name bricker.... sorry haha sounds like he would be from alabama, BrickER StauffER.... haha na.... but I am sure that you will take my advice to heart.   Mom you looked awesome up on that high line....  or whatever it is called, you always have loved to be out doing something.  Thanks for the great pictures of the ward, it is crazy how much you miss them when you dont get to see them.  That is cool about cody harris.  Man I miss that kid, and think about him often.  Tory, man that is my dream to go out with los Elderes and teach someday, really I wanna do it alot, it seems so fun to me, that you can have a piece of the mission , the best part, teaching and everything, but then you get to go back to your own bed and sleep and dont have to do all of the other stuff.  But this week was a tough week as far as the work... Man I was having so much success that the Lord had to humble us down a little, haha but now I know that we gotta work hard.  Carmen backed down on us, mayra´s mom and luis he is 8.  His mom set up this huge old lie so that he didnt get baptized. We got to his house at 3 30 on saturday to pick him up for his baptism, and we went up the stairs, and knocked his door, and his aunt and cousin told us that he had left town to go to his grandpas house for fathers day, and we were like o dang, we believed it because it was fathers day and were all bummed, but then come to find out it was all a lie, his aunt is a member of the church and she told us yesterday that it wasnt true, and so it was just a huge lie, we will pass by tomorrow to see whats up , and why his mom doesnt want him to get baptized until he is 12, but all will work out for the best, so if you get pictures of him next week it is because we talked to his mom and we got it all worked out.

  This week we have a baptism planned for Augusto, he is 88.  Man he is so old, we have to scream when we teach him, it is super difficult,  but yesterday we passed by his house to remind him about church and he answered the door with his book of mormon in his hand and his shirt and tie, man I was so surprised.  He was like what are you waiting for, lets go to church, it was so funny.  He is awesome, but no one went to church yesterday, because it was fathers day, even the members didnt go, that is alwasys fun when you bring people to church that you tell them it is awesome that it is Jesus Christs church and that there are non members there, haha it is a fun game you have to play on the mission. 

O ya mom , I dunno if you still have pictures of my baptism, but if you do, will you please send me a picture of my baptism?  thanks a bunch. 

This week we had alot of experiences and one of them was that Camila the girl that got baptized with her mom from columbia had a little party at her house, without her mom knowing, and then mary got home and cought her with all of her friends and her friends were smoking and drinking, and so mary called us and said, elderes i need you here now, so we speed over to her house and she had all 10 teenagers right there and said, elderes this is what happened, and she explained and then said what do you have to say about this elderes?  man I was like uh.... what do you want me to say, but finally we ended up teaching them all and now like 3 of them wanna get baptized, so it was cool.  It is crazy the confidence that the people have in us to make decisions for them.  But help the elders always and give them references.  Bring friends to church, ill do my best after the mission to do that.  Well love you all very much, my companion is waiting for me. Hey FAMILY!! mom in girls camp ;)

Hey family how is everything going? Everything is awesome for me, we are doing awesome down here.   To be honest about the whole ollanta thing (the new president)  I didnt even know that there were problems .... until you all wrote me, I havent seen anything here, nothing out of the unusual.  So that is why tanner is here because the couple missionaries that are in the offices told me that Tanner told him to tell me hi, so I was like, WHAT why is tanner here?  so now that makes sense, I hope that tanner stays here so we can meet up, and if I am in the offices next change then It will be really easy to see him, but we will see what the Lord has in store for me.   BUt just wanna see tann, that would be so cool to be able to say that I met up with tanner in my mission.  But dont worry about me here in lima, nothing has been done here.  Everything is still awesome with my new companion.  Man we are working hard, we had 3 confirmations this week in church and we are gonna have 3 more this week, so the Lord is really blessing us alot with all of these baptisms.  There is a ward here in the zone, La Victoria, and if everything goes good for them, they will have 11 confirmations this week in church.  Can you imagine that, 11 confirmations in sacrament meeting?  that is just crazy.......  but the zone is doing awesome, they are all really excited for the work, and they taught a ton more lessons this week than the weeks before, so we will see how the future goes for us. to see if we can keep it up.  But man that is awesome about dallas, I got to see a little of game 4 when they tied it up 2 2 but after that nothing so that is exciting , but I wanted lebron to win one .  Thats to bad.  Next year, and guess what, next year I will be sitting at home, on the couch watching the NBA finals, YES!!!!!!!!!!! whoo hoo, that will be amazing to sit and relax and get to watch a ball game, (as grandpa j would say)  and I dont feel to super bad about gettiing to see the game, because if pres monson, the prophet of God on earth can go to a jazz game, I can watch a little on tv.  hahah hope you understand.  but I forgot to tell you that elder henriquez is from chilé, he is awesome, I get along with him better than any other companion that I have had, so I am really happy here, all is well.  Yesterday we had to defend the book of mormon a little bit, with two investigators, they are lawyers and so they are kinda harder to just convince, but they had been searching on the internet about the book of mormon and that totally destroyed their testimony of the book, and we had left moroni 10: 3-5 and they didnt even read it, so man I was kinda frustrated that we left 3 verses and they had enough time to look up information on the internet but didnt even go the the source itself and read 3 verses, so man that i did express my mind, because they were like saying that they had to know that the book of mormon is true by signs , like that old ruins were found, stuff like that, but they say that the bible is proved that it is true,  I told them that if we are trying to prove that something is true, we are gonna look for all of the good things, so for example everyone finds all the good things about the bible and says all that stuff, but they never look to prove that it is false, but the entire world is out to make us look like fools, and that the book of mormon is false, and so they look for all of the stuff to say that it is false, but they got my point and committed to read the book of mormon and so we were pretty happy with the lesson that we had, the Spirit worked through us last night,  I felt the dissappointment of our Heavenly Father last night.  iT was pretty cool.  That is awesome that work and everything is going good.  Hey sister, you gotta be careful that isnt cool to do that .... be careful ok? ok.   I love all of you, and just gonna be here working for another week.  And I got tow packets last week and read all of your letters, thanks so much.  Sorry pops about what paul did, but hey I have been thinking about it alot this week, I bet you havent came to the same conclusion that I have.  But ok maybe the Lord knew that is was going to happen so he let you make alot of money so that it would cover the cost.  But if it wasnt gonna happen He wouldnt of let you gain more money that week, so it was just so you could cover the cost of the accident and have a trial of your Faith in Him and your patience.  Because in doctrine and covenants 100, in the verses at the end of the section, the Lord says that nothing makes Him more mad, than when we dont admit his hand in all things.  And so just remember that the Lord has a hand in all things, and I know that He blessed you with more business last week so you could cover the costs.  And just keep plugging along.  I am happy that work is going so good for you all. 

When bros, get your houses done, they better be done before I get home so I can come chill with my niece and nephew in their sweet houses.  Before you know it, I will be there, its coming.... Its like the second coming,  you cant deny it, Hes coming..... hahaah  Its kinda like that.   well love you all and hope that everything goes super good this week...  thanks for all of you support, how are my sisters feeling?  its getting close, and when are you due steph?  boy or girl?  love elder stauffer....

Hey family it was so awesome to be able to read and see your pictures.  And no worries dad that is okay, i have been reading all of your letters and excited that work is going so good.  Just write all of your goals down, write everything that you need to do when it comes to your mind write it down so you dont forget, that is something that I have learned to love in the mission is write things down, so start to do that.  Thanks mom for the awesome picture of my sister and my scoot man it was so good to be able to see that bad boy, I could so use that on my mission, I would get alot more done in a day.  But thanks sister for all the great pictures, you look awesome.  Keep up the great work, and thanks for telling me about the heat I didnt know that, but I am super excited because I want lebron to win one.  But man I am so so so so so so excited to be able to work with Elder Henriquez.  I have known him my whole mission and am so excited to be able to work with him.  I am excited to have a companion that wants to work and progress with me.  And this week as you can see we had 3 baptisms, Mary Camila and Rodolfo.  Mary and camila are from colombia and amazing, two good converts.  I did it, I stopped biting my nails for her so she would get baptized.  And yes mom as you can see I used my new tie, thanks so much, I have been stressing all week because I forgot to tell you that yes everything got here.  But I am going to send this email to be able to send more pictures. Ok and then rodolfo also got baptized, he is 25 and a little slow.  He had problems with drugs when he was younger and he ended up a little slow so it was hard for him to understand but he did it and got baptized.  And I forgot a extra shirt for the baptism and extra garments so I had to use elder zeas shirt after he baptized camiled and man it was so small for me, elder henriquez was making fun of me.  Then I baptized mary and that was awesome.  Then A guy in our ward baptized rodolfo but he couldnt get him under 2 times, and then rodolfo started to shake because the water was so cold, and so I just hopped in the font with them and then when he got done with the prayer I just shoved him under the water,  it was pretty funny.  hahah  But hey he got baptized.  So an awesome companion and I am so excited, we are gonna do some great things together .  and as you can see that is elder zea, he came from callao to baptize camila (14) and so that is why he is there.  And then one day we went up the hill and took pictures of my area and man how sweet is my area.  We maybe will have a baptism this week, maybe.  But on the 18th we got 2 more lined up so we are excited and just trying to get everyone in the zone excited.  This week I spent alot of time with the sisters, because they pulled 2 elders out of an area and put two sisters so I had to show them around.  Then their room didnt have curtains or a therma, that is the thingy that makes the water hot in the shower so we had to do a whole bunch of errands this week trying to get their room all spiffed up.  And got that done.  And got to work.  I am excited because now I can progress spiritually again.  Elder Zea was a good friend though.  but just keep up the great work love you all.  elder stauffer.  Thanks for everything.  Mom hope that everything goes awesome with girls camp, just be you and the girls will just love you..
